Participate in COVID-19 Vaccination Tracking Research

What do you think about using GP data to track COVID-19 vaccinations?

Researchers at Monash University’s HumaniSE Lab, with Pen CS, are in the process of developing a COVID-19 tracking system to track COVID-19 vaccinations, adverse events and develop ways to increase vaccination coverage.

To help us develop this, we are interested to know what general practice staff think about having a tracking system, and if they think it is an acceptable way to track COVID-19 vaccination and potentially other vaccinations.

If you are interested in finding out more or being involved please email Dr Jenny McIntosh at or click below.

The interview will take 20 to 30 minutes and it can be done via phone call, Zoom or face-to-face at a time that is convenient to you.

If you are a GP, practice nurse or a practice manager, over 18 years old and would be interested in an interview over the phone or by Zoom, we would like to talk with you.

You will be reimbursed $30 (Coles Myer voucher) for your time.

The information we intend to gather from interviews with doctors, nurses and practice managers in general practice will help us to build an acceptable and feasible tool to detect and track COVID-19 vaccination and record adverse events. This will also potentially help track future vaccinations if it is acceptable to clinicians.
