About the study
This interactive education series will be conducted by Medcast and evaluated by the University of Wollongong (UOW), on behalf of the funding body Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA). The sessions are designed to support best-practice prescribing, pathology and diagnostic imaging ordering utilising My Health Record (MHR). Participants will be randomly allocated to either the prescribing, pathology or radiology education arms of the study.
What you will get out of participating in this study
The education will be accredited with RACGP and ACRRM for CPD points. Participants who complete the study will be awarded 40 Category 1 QI & CPD points (and ACRRM equivalent). In appreciation of their participation, GPs who complete the activities will also receive $200 (ex. GST).
Secure data collection
Pen CS software will perform all coding and de-identification of baseline and follow-up clinical study data related to the outcomes of the education sessions on-site, with the practices’ computing environments. This provides secure data collection with minimal added data collection requirements. Your de-identified data will be securely transferred directly to UOW.
