Sydney, 15th September 2021 – Pen CS is honoured to announce the finalists of the 2021 Pen CS Awards. This national Pen CS Awards event recognises excellence in data-driven quality improvement in General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services, by using health informatics. Pen CS thanks all the nominations that were submitted. Every nomination showed the hard work General Practices and Aboriginal Medical Services have demonstrated this past year, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. By the use of health informatics and data, these finalists have proven to have improved patient outcomes significantly in their general practice or Aboriginal Medical Service.
The 2021 Pen CS Awards finalists are Aboriginal Medical Service Co-operative (AMS Redfern), Bennelong Medical Clinic, Chatswood Medical and Dental Centre, Drayton Medical Centre, Faulconbridge Health Centre, Flagstaff Hill Medical Centre, Forbes Medicine and Mind, Hope Medical Centre, Hunters Hill Medical Practice, Lejeune Family Medical Practice, Mandurah and Lakelands Doctors, Medicross Strathpine, MQ Health General Practice, North Richmond Family Medical Practice, Prospect Medical Centre, Sirius Health and Terrey Hills Medical Centre.
Join the finalists at the Pen CS Awards Virtual Ceremony tomorrow on Thursday 16th September at 6 to 7 pm AEST, where the award winners will be announced.
Eight award categories will be celebrated on the night including:
- ‘Closing the Gap’ Award
- Quality Improvement Initiative of the Year Award
- Data-driven Clinical Excellence Award
- Research in General Practice Award
- Data Quality Award
- Digital Innovation Award
- Patient-centred Care Award
- CAT Plus Super User Award
These winners will receive a cash prize of $500 with their trophy.
