Pen CS provides a variety of training for our users:

We run free webinars which provide an introduction for new users of the Clinical Audit Tool – schedules vary so please check the link for session details. All you need is a computer with internet connection and a phone.

Custom webinar training is ideal if you want to train staff or colleagues from different locations as they can connect to the session regardless of their location. These sessions are one or two hours long and the content will be discussed with Pen CS before the session. You can either follow some already established session outlines or create your own topics. This can be a whole session on a particular aspect of using CAT, for example Diabetes care or it can be an open Question and Answer session where different participants can get their questions answered by our trainer. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the content options.

Face to Face training at a location of your choice. We have offices in Sydney and Melbourne and can host training sessions there but can also come to a location of your choice. Face to Face sessions have proven very popular for groups of around 10-20 people as this format allows for a discussion during the training and staff from different areas brings different perspective to the use of CAT Plus. Here is a demo agenda for a half day session (4 hours) which has been well received. However the content is completely up to you and will be customised before the session. Depending on your location there will be additional cost for travel (flights/rental car/ hotel if needed) so please contact us for a detailed quote if you are interested. CAT Plus contracts have a training allowance for on-site and webinar training, please contact your account manager to find out what your organisation has available.

Pen CS recently provided on-site training for project staff utilising the Clinical Audit Tool.  The training really helped staff increase their knowledge of the tool in regard to its practical application. More than simply provide training, staff were led through practical, problem-solving sessions that were tailored to our specific needs. Matthias’s relaxed, informal style made the sessions enjoyable yet informative. The subject matter covered was excellent, and Matthias’s efforts to make it relevant to practical application increased the impact.

Project Officer, Gold Coast Medicare Local

Matthias provided a great day’s training to Grampians Medicare Local on everything you need to know about Classic CAT.

By the end of the day we were all far more confident with its use, and since the training I have been able to incorporate my new knowledge in supporting general practice.

A very valuable session!
