GMSBML is running a series of webinars on identifying a need for aspirin for patients with diabetes and/or cardiovascular disease, using the Pen Computer Systems Clinical Audit Tool (Classic CAT). These webinars are designed around improving quality of patient care and patient outcomes, particularly in medication management. Additionally, the webinars may be useful for practice accreditation, or QI&CPD points as administered by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. The webinar is an online, web seminar which will be co-hosted by GMSBML’s Medical Advisor, Dr Peter Adkins, and Health Information Technical Officer, Colin Sheppard. It will be about 30 to 40 minutes in duration.
Classic CAT is a tool which allows the practice to ‘conduct basic data analysis of their patient database to assist with patient healthcare, clinical review and practice management. GMSBML provides the Classic CAT free of charge to practices in its region.
